Google Tools

Let’s explore some of the features of Google that are FREE to use. If you have a Google Email or Gmail account then you have already completed the first step.

Calendar

Google Calendar not only lets you mark important dates, it also allows you to set appointments, meetings, and alerts. You can create multiple calendars, one for work, one for home, one for important dates only, or one for travel schedules. Plus, you have the option to share your calendar(s) with others. In this section, we will go over the main features that can help you map out your work day, week, or month.

Keep (Notes)

Google Keep is where you can “jot” notes. The great thing about many of Google products is they are also in app forms for your phones so that all the information is synced. So if you add notes on Keep with your laptop or desktop, you will see the same notes on your phone app. You can share Keep with other people as well and they can add notes to the same template.

Tasks

We are all boggled with duties throughout our week and sometimes we get so busy that something slips our mind. Google Tasks can help you stay on track. You can add tasks from your email and calendar applications. You can also set alerts for reminders and if you have a certain task that needs to be done each week, you can create one task and set it to repeat. Don’t worry, it is much simpler to do than it sounds.
